Plymouth to Santander Mini Cruise - April 2026. Wow! What a time we had together. Four fabulous shows, a flash mob, lots of spontaneous singing, lots of laughter, new friendships made, good food (maybe a little drink as well!). Great team work! This trip showed everyone what Rock Choir truly is - yes we are a great choir but we are so much more than that! I was immensely proud to spend the last two days with you all - you were magnificent! Feedback from the passengers was actually quite emotional and very moving! So positive! The captain of the ship even came down to listen! Plymouth Rockies enjoyed singing in the Central Library this afternoon. It was the library's 10th Birthday and they have been having lots of different creative events and musical performances this week. It was lovely to perform with a smaller choir to a smaller audience and it made for a really intimate gig. Well done everyone, you sounded fantastic! First gig of the year. Newton Abbot Town Centre for the Saturday Shoppers. A beautiful sunny day and a fantastic audience who had a good sing with us with smiles on their faces. Well done everyone. A week on from an amazing experience at the BP Pulse Live Arena in Birmingham we had another wonderful choir experience at Kents Cavern in Babbacombe last night. The Torquay Rockies are taking part in this years 'Carols in the Caves' concert series in the caves. It really is a wonderful place to sing with a great acoustic. The audience were very appreciative and the feedback has been incredible. We will be there for the next two Fridays as well. We have made it into a really festive event with choir numbers, carols with the audience, carols by candlelight, Christmas readings and a violin solo as well. I have had many amazing opportunities in my time with Rock Choir.  BBC Proms in the Park, performing with BBC Concert Orchestra, Edinburgh Fringe, Carnegie Hall New York and now the BP Pulse Live Arena in Birmingham.  What a weekend!  I was fortunate enough to share the stage with Sam Ryder, Emilie Sande, Russel Watson and Caroline Redman Lusher MBE. Two shows performing to 20,000 Rockies who certainly know how to party! Performing at a gig like this is such a rewarding and uplifting experience and it leaves you on a real high as you would expect. I was so pleased to share this experience with so many of my choir members as well as my mum and dad who came along to the matinee.  I wouldn't be doing what Im doing now without their love and support over the years. An all round amazing experience shared with so many lovely and amazing people. Time to get ready for the busy Christmas period.

We had a really lovely intimate local gig yesterday in the local Library to support their Christmas Fair. I love all of our gigs whether we have a choir of 100 or a choir of 30 like yesterday but there is something quite special about singing in a smaller group and seeing and hearing everyone working closely together. The Crowne Plaza Plymouth - Part Two. This Saturday we were honoured to be a part of a big charity dinner for Pregnancy Crisis Care a local charity doing amazing work in Plymouth. We started the evening off with a flash mob of Sweet Child of Mine which took the guests by surprise. We then sang another couple of songs before leaving the guests to their dinner and a live band to dance the night away. A really lovely evening. Abbfest 2025. What a gig! I am so proud of each and every Rockie today for singing in that weather. We did it! It was either sing in the rain or go home. Well there was no chance of going home! What a fantastic gig we had today in the sunshine at the amazing West End Carnival in Plymouth. A fab venue with a really great crowd and a great atmosphere. Plymouth Rockies sang out proud in their City and the feedback was just brilliant. Babbacombe Summer Fair 2025. Our first visit to this event and it didn't disappoint. It was a really lovely friendly local community event which was an honour to support. Buckfast Abbey Summer Fair 2025. Always a favourite. 230 Rockies from Torquay, Newton Abbot and Plymouth all coming together to share the love, ethos and values of RockChoir. A day full of fun, love, friendship and of course lots of singing in a stunning location. Just look at the smiling faces and you can see what kind of day we had. It always makes me feel very proud to be the choir leader when I hear the wonderful sound and harmonies of everyone singing together. Well done everybody, you should all feel very proud as well. Plymouth Armed Forces day 2025. This has become a real highlight for Plymouth Rockies. We have so many connections with the armed forces so to be able to sing at this event in the big arena every year is a real honour and privilege. We are all very proud to be able to give something back. The choir were awesome! Plymouth Race for Life 2025. One of our favourite gigs of the summer season. Over 100 Plymouth Rockies singing and cheering the runners and walkers for nearly two hours! I think we got through about 20 songs today. Wow! We even sang a snippet of the elusive 'Shake it Off'. Shout out to those rockies on their first gig - you were awesome. English Riviera Airshow 2025. Back with a bang! After a year away we returned to perform at the Airshow today and what a gig it was. The Rockies were on fire and performed at the very top of their game today. The huge audience loved it and joined in which was great. It was lovely to see other Rockies in the crowd as well enjoying themselves. The feedback afterwards was unbelievable. I am so proud of everyone in my South Devon Rock Choirs. Kingsteignton Ram Roasting Fair 2025. Lovely summers gig in Chudleigh Knighton yesterday raising money for FrieNDs charity. Singing, tea and coffee and cakes on a sunny May afternoon. Very English! We always enjoy our local community gigs down here in Devon. Well done to all the South Devon Rockies for another great performance.

Wow! What an awesome gig that was! Over 100 Plymouth Rockies sang their hearts out in the newly refurbished Old Town Square in the heart of Plymouth City Centre. Its part of the new Saturday sessions to entertain the shoppers and visitors. The rockies were magnificent and the feedback has been incredible.
